The actor, 35, confirmed the legitimacy of his relationship with Swift, 26, in not one, but twodifferent interviews Thursday. It was The Hollywood Reporter that asked Tom for his response to the "claim that you're involved in some sort of publicity stunt" with Taylor...
"Well, um," he answered, apparently with a laugh. "How best to put this? How best to put this? That notion is—look, the truth is that Taylor Swift and I are together, and we're very happy. Thanks for asking. That's the truth. It's not a publicity stunt."
Tom confirmed Hiddleswift's status in an interview with MTV News as well, saying, "We are together and we're very happy."
The handsome Brit has a lot to be happy about these days, in both his personal and professional life. This morning, Tom earned his first Emmy nomination for Lead Actor in a Limited Series or Movie for his role in AMC's miniseries The Night Manager.
That begs the question, will Tom be bringing anyone special with him to the 2016 Emmy Awards in September? "I don't. I didn't even know I could," he told THR. adding laughingly, "It's 4 in the morning here!"
